Snarky Apple: No More Crazy, We're Full Up Here

We all have interesting stories from our workplace--the good, the bad and the crazy. I always seem to have the crazy on speed dial--my cup runneth over! Have you ever had anyone come in and fetch you from a bathroom stall?

Here's the deal folks, Sierra is a snarky apple with a mission and it's all about work. I'm managing a big project which seems to be taking up all of my physical and mental resources. I felt that I had no snark to give you this week, but Scarlet pointed out that this is just not true because she's been listening me to rant about a very consistent subject lately. That's why Crazy Boss--this snark is for you!

Yes, I refer to my supervisor as Crazy Boss. What has Crazy Boss done to receive this title? Glad you asked!

Here are some examples :

Constant stream of random one question emails--at all hours of the work and non work day.
Visiting my cube every 15-20 minutes with new requests.
Making me sit at the computer with her for over an hour helping her send out emails.
Making one of the assistants cry and think she was getting fired.
Making plans, but not informing me of them, then assuming I know the details of said plans.
Telling staff that the department will pay for accommodations on a business trip, cheaping out, and then making me give them the bad news.

And the winning Crazy Boss moment is.....STALKING ME IN THE BATHROOM.

I had decided to make a trip to the ladies room. I entered the stall and sat down to do my business when someone called out my name. Crazy Boss had her assistant follow me into the bathroom! No joke, she followed me into the restroom and began having a conversation with me while I was doing my business. Crazy Boss decided that my attendance was needed at a meeting I wasn't scheduled for happening right at that moment. Apparently the request couldn't wait for me to get out of the restroom?! My response was--"Well, I'm in the middle of something here so I'll be there shortly." What the HELL Crazy Boss?!!! I don't know about y'all, but I don't enjoy restroom conversations. Not to mention couldn't she have waited until I came OUT of the restroom? I mean, really, this was not an emergency.

Now, I could go on for an entire book on Crazy Boss, but instead I'll leave you with a video clip that reminds me a bit of her.
