Ian Somerhalder, star of CW's The Vampire Diaries turns 32 today. This very talented actor is putting a unique twist on his birthday celebration this year.
He has a birthday wish or more specifically Birthday Wish campaign. Ian has created his own foundation--the IS Foundation the mission of the foundation is to "empower, educate & collaborate with people & projects to positively impact the planet and its creatures". He has asked that in lieu of gifts folks instead send money to support the efforts of the foundation.
As this snarky apple has said before I like action oriented people. Love that Ian is corralling his screaming mass of fans into something he believes passionately in and helps planet. Bravo! I hope the PO Box at the IS Foundation provides you with an avalanche of checks.
