Love is in the Air

It's that time year again - wedding season. Yes, I know, April/May through September/October is typically considered wedding season. But think about it, if your big day is this summer, what are you thinking, dreaming, and talking about right now? That's right, your wedding! In my mind, wedding season actually begins months before the official day hits the calendar. Around six months out, even the most laid back bride will find ways to work the topic of weddings into everyday conversations (this is not a dig, just an observation).

You know the saying "always a bridesmaid, never a bride"? Yeah, that's not me. My wedding party was my first "real" wedding party. And then the floodgates opened. If my count's right, I've been a bridesmaid at least 10 times (this number will probably increase). Obviously, I've been a guest a zillion times. And, let's not forget, I've been mom of the cute kid a half a dozen times (or more). I've got a fairly well informed look at weddings -  inside and out.

So, now that I've established my "expertise," please indulge my unsolicited advice. Over the next few months, I'll share some of my thoughts on weddings, what not to do, how to's, and random wedding fun. I suspect that Sierra will jump in with her two cents every now and again - whether or not anyone asks (luv ya, sb!).

So, sit back and enjoy the ride. I'll teach you how to be a Snarky Bride ('cause isn't that what you've always wanted?).
