So I headed out to my car today to run some errands. It had been snowing—big shocker—so I needed to clean off my car before I headed out. While completing this task two of the neighbor “hoods” choose this moment to head out to their car. I’m a Midwest gal so when someone says "hi" to me I do the polite thing and return the greeting. Clearly this was a mistake. I must have smiled too much or made to much eye contact because apparently I was asking to be hit on. I was not interested and I had things to do so I wanted to end this conversation quickly after he inquired if it was possible for us to "get together". So I implied that I was involved with someone and the two of us had a fun time on New Year’s Eve. His next question to me was “Did you get plugged up good?” Umm WOW. I think it actually took several minutes of silence to process what he meant and my mind has a permanent residence in the gutter! Who says sh*t like that? My response was “I never kiss and tell”. How the hell do I attract conversations like this?
