OMG! Zac and Vanessa broke up?!?

I didn't realize they were still together. Okay, that's not true, I totally knew they were still together (gossip blogs = mandatory reading). Anyway, I'm actually not at all shocked by this breakup, though I kinda feel bad for Vanessa. I'm not sure if Vanessa has enough juice to be famous on her own. The Disney image mafia totally put a hit on her popularity after the whole High School Musical naughty pictures scandal. [NOTE: sexting may be fun and exciting, but it also means that someone, other than you, has evidence of your inner freak. If you don't want anyone else to see your goods, don't take and send nudie/sex pics. That's all.]

Okay, back to the break up talk. The recent break up that is interesting to me is the Ryan Reynolds/Scarlett Johansson divorce.

I didn't see this one coming. They were an under the radar couple, which is kinda why I thought they had a chance. Maybe they were too low profile? Who knows. Ah well, there's clearly something about the entertainment lifestyle that makes it more difficult to sustain a marriage. I know marriage is a challenge for all, but I think the hectic travel, the fans, the pressure, and the lack of privacy really beat the sh*t out of a new marriage - you gotta be pretty tough to survive that. I'm glad that I never have to factor the public and the press in my personal and private family matters.
